Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

We collect: your email address and name (via Clerk authentication), your AI provider API keys (encrypted at rest), API call metadata (model, token counts, cost, feature tag), and usage analytics.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to: provide and improve the Service, forward your API requests to AI providers, calculate cost savings, and send product and billing communications. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. API Keys Storage

Your AI provider API keys are stored with AES-256 encryption. They are only used to forward your requests and are never shared with third parties beyond the intended AI provider.

4. Data Sharing

We share data with: Supabase (database hosting), Clerk (authentication), Paddle (payment processing), and Vercel (infrastructure). All providers are contractually bound to protect your data.

5. Lawful Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process your personal data under the following lawful bases as defined in GDPR Article 6:

• Article 6(1)(b), Contract performance: Processing your email, API keys, and usage data is necessary to provide the Service you signed up for.
• Article 6(1)(f), Legitimate interests: Aggregating anonymized usage signals to improve routing quality. These signals are stripped of personally identifying information and cannot be traced back to individual users.
• Article 6(1)(c), Legal obligation: Retaining billing records as required by applicable tax law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data and API call logs are permanently deleted within 24 hours. Billing records may be retained for up to 7 years as required by tax law.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR and applicable privacy law, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your dashboard settings. Account deletion is immediate and irreversible. For other requests, contact igal@promptunit.ai.

We use essential cookies for authentication only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
